In lieu of cards, we are making a donation to Mercy Ships Bringing hope and healing

Why Mercy Ships? The year 2019 has been full of surprises, adventures and events…. Close to the top of our list is Dr. Kyra’s dad turning 80 years old in October. His wish was “No gifts please. It will make me so happy if you will please donate to Mercy Ships instead”. So in his honour, we are donating to this amazing organization, and if you feel moved, we welcome you to do the same.

Mercy Ships operates state-of-the-art hospital ships run by skilled volunteers to provide free healthcare, free surgery and world-class health care services and capacity building in developing nations. Founded in 1978 by Don and Deyon Stephens, Mercy Ships has worked in more than 70 countries providing services valued at more than $1.3 billion, impacting more than 2.35 million lives. Each year Mercy Ships has more than 1,200 volunteers from over 40 nations that donate their time and skills to the effort.
